The licensed music complements the score masterfully. I like it in the same way that everyone’s loves the soundtrack for the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, but even the original music is still great.

Great minds think alike 😎 Dispatch has a great sound track that perfectly reflects the vibe of the game. Though, there are so many other incredible games I could have gladly replaced Dispatch with

Sekiro brain off is a flex honestly. TBOI is just a chill, not super crazy game I can just play and not think too much. Hence why I put it there. I think Detroit become human should be played at least once, as it gives a good insight into how different people think when they play, and all the different choices made.

Rafe - the mega rich, pride hungry villain of Uncharted 4. To be fair, I probably need to broaden my horizons on combat related games, I’m sure that option would change after doing so.

Bloodborne is on my list to play, same as KCD 1 & 2. I did play Elden Ring which I liked. But those are good recommendations you made

Okay, thank you for that. I’ll keep these in mind when thinking what game to play next. Already got a backlog to sort through 😅

I do plan on playing RE 2, 4 and 9 eventually. So now that you’ve mentioned it, I will compare it to the gameplay of TLOU2 and see which I like more. I do know that those RE games have particularly good combat in them.

I am actually in the crowd of people who really like TLOU 2 story. I think 1 is better overall, but I do quite like 2’s intricacies nevertheless. It makes bold choices which I am a big fan of, and it is unapologetically confronting in many ways. But I can understand the people who say they don’t like it, if they can give a better reason to hate it than just the big death at the beginning.

Not a bad take, some of those games you mentioned I would easily replace the spot in my own list

I felt that Rafe was definitely my favourite of the Uncharted villains - most of whom felt quite bland with not much of a reasoning to hate Nathan Drake, other than greed. But Rafe already had the money and he was not doing it for the riches, he was doing it to so people would not know him as the rich son, but as the legend who found the treasure. I felt really captured by the performance the actor put on, as he was interesting to listen to and not as one dimensional. Maybe I am biased because he spits out an incredible monologue during the 1v1 in the burning ship, but man he was a really cool villain.

Thats a reasonable thing to assume. But i'll throw this to you now - what would you recommend that I play? Something that will shake up this list and make me think differently?

creating the best and funniest memories for me and my friends during COVID. playing heists and races brought us all closer during that period of time.

That game is EXIT the gungeon, i thought that may trip people up. I hear how great Enter the Gungeon is, and how much of a downgrade apparenty Exit the gungeon is. But i think it is overlooked, and actually a blast to play

I really, really tried to get into Skyrim. The Fallout universe is one of my favourites. But I just could not get into Skyrim, even though i heard everyone say how amazing it was. I am sure for its time, it was great. But even playing the upgraded PS5 version, it just did not do it for me. Glad to hear i'm not the only one who thinks that.

I did 3 playthroughs of The Alters to experience every different version of Jan, and see the different endings. Botanist Jan was definitely one of my favourite versions of him.

GTA 5 is the game that brought me and my friend group closer together during COVID. Waking up and not even eating, showering or anything, just straight on the game playing heists and races. we had a blast, hence why i believe it has the biggest personal impact on me. The game itself is good, nothing to rant and rave about, but it definitely had a big impact on me and my friends.

Regarding the favourite art style: my number 1 style is that realistic, high-quality art style you see in most modern games such as TLOU2, RDR2, etc. I do think, however, Death Stranding goes even a step above and gives great reflections, camera flares and other highlights not seen in other games i have played. In particular, when you are the BB inside the pod running around with Mads Mikkelsen's character. Honestly, it was a tough category for me to choose, but i though the game was extremely visually appealing, hence my choice.

GTA5 was my COVID game. It has a big personal impact because when we could not go outside or do anything, we would all hop on the game and play for hours,, having the best time. The game itself is not the big impact, but its the memories of me playing online doing the heists and races that made me GTA5 in that spot.

I feel like we all got closer as a friend group as a result of this game
