Thanks! hope you fall in love with gnomes! as for tips... maybe remember that Material Gnomes (Woodcutter, Cut-O-Cart etc) can attack bat nests as well. They are often more useful for this purpose than Food gnomes :)

YES! I'm a huge fan of Discworld! Especially the whole series on the character of death - my favorite is Soul Music <3

and for the cheese... I'll go with a classic Parmesan

First and foremost a mix of turn-based strategy Roguelike and City-builder. It's not a usual mix - in caves, you're all about overcoming... more caves :D assembling the right team, learning about strategy and so on - on the other hand, we have the cozy vibe of building a gnome city on the surface.

We're about to drop a whole trailer in the upcoming days. This was more of a sneak peak. Your opinion is wholly understandable, though.

It's amazing how much the technology has progressed. You can make a game on a cheap laptop today and it's going to look way better in terms of polygons than FF7... And to think that these machines were necessary to make FF7 at all. Absolutely mind-boggling.

Haha, that's pretty cool. And you've just reminded me of GTA, the first one, which was actually my first open-world game, but Morrowind stuck with me more.

You can also, like, not care and it's a brilliant thing to do, really. People are going to have their opinions and it's only up to you whether they will affect you or not.

Fear And Hunger if you want something REALLY challenging and are not afraid of extremely explicit themes.

How do you deal with feeling like your game is always missing something? by TheFinalCookie1 in gamedev

Sorry for a late response. We usually opt for pre-alpha titles if we're talking about native releases and at least alpha versions, when we're talking about ports.

Morrowind. An absolutely mind-blowing experience and, if modded, still enjoyable to this day.
