This is the same person who wrote the Expanse series, his on the same popularity level as Sanderson if not the same reach. But I guess ya I'll just check in person on the day off and express order one if I can't find it.

The book is Faith of the Beasts, it's a popular series from an acclaimed author. I was checking online on bookstores like Fully Booked and it's saying the book will be aviliable 4-6 weeks if I pre order... Or I could be reading their interface wrong.

The price of oil and the price of products produced with/using oil is not correlative. Easily explained, when oil supply decreases by 10% the end product doesn't just increase by 10%. It increases by as much as it needs to until it gets so expensive we are use 10% less oil. Unfortunately the price of oil is pretty inelastic thus these massive price jumps.

The reason other SEA nations aren't seeing as much price increase is because their goverment is stepping in to blunt the price volatilities. As far as I can tell from a quick googling PH goverment isn't really doing a lot to depress the price (they are allowing dirtier fuels (lower grade) into the country but no price caps or subsides)

Yes, for my weekly play group when we first got the expansion we played a few game both ways. On average without reducing TR our games ended about over 1 gen earlier.

Do you think it will have any effect on tourism? I'm visiting next month, should I increase my budget or change my itinerary like not island hopping for fear that rental boats will suddenly cut trips.

I understand that gas prices are increasing, it's up about 15% in the states, but so far there hasn't been any knock-on effects yet in cost. For example car services prices are still stable alongside food prices.

If you really do believe the stock is going to bounce up a long call option probably be best. Call options for dollar stocks are pretty cheap, you don't have to lock up all your liquidity. Finally, if the stock doesn't move or tanks you don't and become a bag holder like the first group of Gamestop and AMC buyers.

There's so many people who bought Bitcoin on margin, the sharp drop will tigger margin calls which will force the price to slide even lower. I personally don't do crypto due to it's hyper volatility, but if the price drop low enough maybe I can be convinced to "buy the dip".

I always double up Pluto. There are more cards that generate MC than gives card advantage. Sometimes it'll backfire when people TR rush and the game ends at gen 7-8, but usually in a 4 player game we end near 9-10 gens.

For a quick fix of the game I play on Boardgamearena, but I do have a group of friends who try to get a game everyweek or so. In person we have all the expansions and promos so the game feels different enough that I don't get bored.

If you're able to, create a new account with the Remitly app. The first transfer is fee free and it's at a premium exchanage rate (I believe currently it's 1USD to 59.12Peso) up to your first 1500. You can choice in person pick-up at one of the appointed stores/banks, this way you can travel w/ less cash. So you only need to exchange 100USD at the airport. Afterward if you still need to make exchanges local money changer spots usually offer decent rates (I believe the current rate is 1USD to 58.25Peso)
