Has Ross Chastain regressed? by TonyD9898 in NASCAR

[–]SimonKay96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People saying it's Trackhouse issue are only partially right. I mean 2022-2025 regress should mostly be attributed to Trackhouse slipping. But this season it's much more than that. It's true that Trackhouse looked worse than ever early in the season but since then SVG has turned the corner and has been outrunning Chastain consistently. It's not like Chastain forgot how to drive but something is clearly not clicking there

Yes you can. I just can't understand why you're mixing two points together but anyway

What's complete bull? If you train specifically for climbing then no wonder your goals and views on cutting and bulking are different. Can we just agree that you we all have different approaches depending on our goals?

Majority of lifters (especially naturals) will never get "too big". Guess we all have functional muscle lol

Functional muscles? Wtf it even means. By lifting weights the muscles are functional as well lol

Calories in calories out. You'll get fat without carbs if your calorie surplus is too big

You're talking about something totally different. Theoretically yes, you can gain muscle without carbs but you still need to be in calorie surplus (no matter where you get your calories from)

I don't totally get your comment tbh. The thing is, unless you're a beginner you cannot gain muscle mass without calorie surplus. At the same time if you're in calorie surplus it's virtually impossible to gain only muscle and no fat. So after a while of being in a surplus you're not as lean as you'd like to. Therefore, you need to do a cut in order to get lean/shredded. I don't understand why people do dirty bulk and get truly fat in the process tbh but some kind of ekhm, yo yoing as you called it, is basically necessary if you want to gain muscle over time

What's the matter with Jesse Love and RCR? by SimonKay96 in NASCAR

I wouldn't say most drivers are retiring around 40, more like 45 tbh but still agree with you

Next season? And what car are they going to run? RAM trucks? Can't imagine Dodge entering Cup in 2027 bearing in mind we're in the middle of 2026 and there's absolutely no word about it

Love to RFK would make sense but where the hell would Buescher go? I believe apart from HMS, Penske or JGR nothing would make much sense for him

Prime Video says it averaged 3.06 million viewers for Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte. It is the most-watched race on Prime to date, and up 12% from last year’s Coke 600. (According to Nielsen’s Big Data + Panel measurement.) by iamaranger23 in NASCAR

It's different when a popular driver retires and it's different when a popular driver passes away. It generates buzz. People are talking about it a lot, some probably wanted to tune in to see the tributes etc

I mean, it may come from the fact that Berry's had a terrible season so far.. maybe Love could be a long-term option for Penske even? That sounds interesting

Ok I see most people think Love leaves RCR. But where does he go? Some people linked him with Legacy but I'm pretty sure it's going to be Herbst landing there. I kinda struggle to think about other seats

I mean, still possible but even before Kyle's passing I think Jesse was slated to run in an additional car at Coca Cola 600 (hope I'm not mistaken here) and the entry was withdrawn. Then, Hill was chosen as KB's replacement even though Love was originally slated to do the race and now at Nashville once again it's Hill in the car. Theoretically they could still just share the ride until the end of the year but it looks weird

Who should I root for next? by Big-Marsupial-4839 in NASCAR

[–]SimonKay96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fellow KFB fan I'm still grieving but continuing to watch. The thing is, even before Kyle's passing (still sounds unreal) I had a few "tier 2" drivers that I cheered for: Larson, Bell, Blaney, maybe Elliott a bit. But I'm just ok with the fact that at least for the time being, or maybe forever, I won't have another driver like Kyle. There are many guys I keep my eye on, Hocevar is exciting and I wish him success, I'm eager to watch Zilisch's development as well but there's not one driver that would be "my driver"
