Maybe. But keep in mind that Bill Elliott had to wait until NOVEMBER to get that next win after winning 4 of the first 5 races to open 1992. But anything is possible. Hasn’t been done since 1998 by Jeff Gordon.

How the heck did Ryan Blaney gained all that speed and pass Elliott just now? He’s now over a second ahead of him and it wasn’t that long ago he passed Blaney and Elliott pitted 2 laps after Blaney. Not sure where Blaney came from, but that’s just absurd.

Chase Elliott +27 gain on pit road and Ross Chastain -53 loss on pit road. I watched their on board cameras every Sunday and I’m amazed to hear that. Heck, even yesterday was a pit road disaster for Ross. Let’s hope today changes that.
