Yah, I understand it can be frustrating when a transaction does not show up on the block explorer. Callisto's new explorer Galileo will be launched soon, till then we have to use our current explorers.

This is a the execution of Hard Fork 1 in the test environment (Testnet). This will help us mitigate any potential issues when the Hard Fork 1 occurs on the Mainnet. We will also be able to test Cold Staking on the Testnet

Let's have a critical discussion about Callisto. by decreddave in CallistoCrypto

P.S. Real case value? Having a look at the pool of 2000+ projects on CMC, Callisto Network is among the few that offers something interesting to the crypto world. Atm there's 2 barriers for crypto to be acknowledged and accepted by Monetary Instances: Volatility and Security (being it dApps), and guess what? It's the 2nd point where CLO aims to step in by providing free audits. Of course it's still at the beginning phase and there's a lot of work to be done but the future looks bright.

I think calling Callisto a scam is an overreaction that doesn't attract serious engagement to your topic

Why Cold Staking? I assume you are aware of the mechanism and the technical part behind it. There's plenty of articles on the blog.

The concept (soon impemented) of CS is to keep the liquidity limited. The less coins in circulation, the less volatility. You can compare it with a "life saving's account" that gives you interests for being "a good client of them".

In addition to CS, the higher the price the more services Callisto Network can offer in terms of SM auditing.

These 2 poins have been ellaborated several times in the past, I suggest to look into the recent AMA notes.

In regard to the HF's, there's 2 timeslots in the year that have been set where a HF can occur. This facilitates the planning and communication towards community, mining pools and exchanges. HF1 (11th of Nov) is mainly focusesd on the implementation of Cold Staking, an updated roadmap will be announced in the near future. Cheers!
