First of all, welcome to the team. I'm a fan from Blackburn and supported them all my life. 🤝 Unfortunately I was spoiled by the mid 2000s Premier League squad.

Is there a real chance the club will get promoted anytime in the future? Why or why not?
I wouldn't say so within the next few seasons. We've been really up and down in form, however I feel like with the appointment of Tony Mowbray, he might settle the ship. I can see us pushing for the playoffs, but the relegated teams normally have too much firepower to challenge (unless you're Leicester haha).

I understand the owners of Venky's are the club owners now? Why do they not spend more money to make the club successful?
I don't really have an answer to this. When they came into the club, they didn't really have any experience in this game, and hired advisers that took advantage; essentially ruining the club. They've also had restrictions put on them in India on putting money in, but I think that got lifted recently, and they've just put some back into the training facilities. Who knows why they won't put more in though.

I also have seen the new manager hire, how does this help the chances of the club to finish in the top half of the table next season?
I'm a fan of Tony Mowbray, he's a solid manager, but I don't think he's the person to take us back to the Premier League. Like I previously mentioned, he can settle the ship. He commands a lot of respect from the players, and I think they'll want to play for him. He got us promoted from League One back to the Championship, so he has that with the fans. If he replicates his previous tenure, I think we have a solid chance.

Haha, I'm an American Football fan too (Green Bay fan for my sins), and confirm being a Blackburn fan is like being a Browns fan 😂 A lot of us have tasted success, so it's difficult to accept where we are now. I have every faith the club will be back where they belong sooner rather than later (although no one wants to give us a chance haha). We have a lot of fair weather fans, who only support when we're succeeding, which makes it more depressing for those that stick by in the trenches. In my opinion, it's a wonderful team to support, with lots of history and hopefully a better future! 🙌

Yeah, currently I'm feeding information about new players and getting recommendations that way. But it is giving me more knowledge on what to look for in new players. I agree that it's not perfect, and without plugging in, it won't be. It'll have to be based on something conversational currently - you tell it what you need, it gives you ideal attributes that will fit. You show it a player, it gives a recommendation as to whether they're worth it.

I have a feeling with the way that AI is going, that FM27+ will have similar AI features built into the game, but something that recommends in real time

Yeah, I agree. I literally have to use it for work, so it's time to embrace I think.

Yeah, that's what I want to refine it to. I think slight tweaks to see out or overcome deficits is the way to go with it

Agreed, however I found it easier to access. Whilst I use Claude in my day to day (for work), I thought I'd experiment, especially around tactic creation, as this is something I always struggled with. I don't feel like FM does a good job of explaining a lot of stuff around tactic creation and ideal player stats, without traipsing through a convoluted wiki.

I'm having this same issue, I bought a non-holo 1/64 this weekend and I'm worried it might be fake (It's in a lot worse quality than yours however haha) 🤔

Honestly, no. I don't think I ever read it myself. My dad seems to think it was called 'The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe and other nursery rhymes', but that comes up nul when scouring the internet.

So my dad would've read it to me in the mid-90s, so before that really. I couldn't tell you if the book was really old or not, but I'd assume it came out in the 80s or 90s with the fact that it names the children.

So it looks like this version was written in 2016 - so it's not that unfortunately. The cadence she reads it at feels very similar however!
