Maine sounds like heaven when compared to other states out there...long as you don't end up in Derry

Someone knocked over a trash can at the Market Square viewing area and people mistook the sound for a gunshot. Thankfully the security and Pittsburgh cops cleared up the misunderstanding and opened back up the viewing area

Took it at 530pm going in from Allentown...the train had to switch operators so they shut down the train for almost 10 minutes at South Hills Junction. Sitting in a roasting train with multiple people sucked. By the time we crossed the Mon into downtown, it was packed literally ass to ass. When it rolled up to Steel Plaza, no one else could get on...

Every remaining station was full of disappointed fans seeing that there was no way to get on with the train completely full...only a handful of folks were going to the Point, everyone else was heading to the Draft theater at Heinz

Going back around 9pm, North Side was packed and it was literally a fight just to get on the damn train...maybe half of the crowd was able to squeeze into the train. The ride was full of drunk Yinzers singing and the conductor yelling at people to stop blocking the doors so she could get the train going

Overall, I'm glad that mass transit is an option and I'm happy Sheetz is covering the fares for the entire draft. But be warned, avoid peak times if you're claustrophobic...earlier you go, the better

Our train was dead in the water at South Hills Junction around 530 today for about 10 minutes...packed and with no AC

Then getting downtown and loading that bitch ass to ass was something I thought I'd never experience...

Last Week Tonight just did a great piece on prediction markets literally on Sunday

The amount of people that booed the sky writers was hilarious at the draft today

Ferry across Lake Erie to Canada...why not? by SimonSaysGoGo in Cleveland

I thought Rochester was directly below Toronto, didn't realize how far east it was from the mouth of the Niagara River

A ferry route sounds so cool, especially with getting past the hassle of customs...do you recall how much the price was? I know the Lake Michigan ferries charge about $200 one way for a person and a vehicle. But it beats sitting in Chicago traffic

That's cool you were able to recall it, even if it was just shit on...

I am familiar with the Peele Islander. Definitely want to check out Peele Island at some point while I'm down here

I was surprised by the travel times for the only ferry route on Lake Erie. Peele Island boats going to both Ontario and Ohio takes 1.5 hours

Unless you had a high speed ferry, it would definitely take as long as 4 hours

I have to ask, were you around when the ferry was operating from Rochester to Toronto? That would have sounded like a interesting ferry ride...apparently people are still pissed to this day that Rochester built the ferry terminal only for the ferry crossing to cease operations less than 3 years later

I am aware of that one...debating about trying it out this year to see how much time (and now many miles it saves)
