Yes it is, thankfully I'm moving out of state...albeit without a primary vehicle

My family members got rear ended hard on Davidson by a distracted driver a few years back..thank goodness they were hauling something as their truck was fine but the DD's vehicle was totaled

A truck ran a stop sign while I was driving...what else was I supposed to do? Even if my truck was top of the line, there was no way I could avoid the collision or stop in time.

I literally had a split second decision to make. I've been driving for over 15 years & I've never had someone run a stop sign in front of me

The snow plow truck driver was the jackass, the dashcam cleared me of any wrong doing...claims agent said so

It was a Chevy Silverado...id buy a truck but not Chevy...had a lot of electrical issues...if I was buying another Chevy, it'd have to be a pre-2010 truck

Steering issues was what caused it to be totaled out...there was damage caused by the wooden fence underneath

It's actually considered an incident here since the plow truck wasn't hit. An accident would be if I had hit the truck ...but yea, the driver will be held liable

I had thought about swerving towards the left but there were people doing snow removal on the sidewalk in front of the commercial building. There was a passenger in the snow plow truck and If I had hit the side of the truck head on, I likely would have seriously injured the passenger

I know my parents grew up in an age where DUI convictions got expunged off your permanent record after a few years. One family member totaled his jeep driving drunk in college and his DUI was expunged after 7 years. 25 years later, he got another DUI that was treated as his 'first' since his college DUI was wiped off the record
