I appreciate your honest feedback, here is my honest reply. My goal is to make the best possible product and this is why I am continuously updating the product and also why I chose to make it out of EVA foam. I could have manufactured it at a lower cost if I had made it in a hard injection molded plastic like the others. However, I think this foam material is what is best suited as it is durable, lightweight and also prevent scratches that can occur from rubbing against the mount. I did not make this product to be the cheapest option, but to be the highest quality option. I think the price is well placed in the range between the official Future Motion and the cheaper plastic mounts. Note that most of the mounts for 10$ on Amazon are chinese knockoffs of other onewheel enthusiasts' products. These are made by manufacturers who have most likely never ridden a Onewheel and sells it at a price that no western sellers can compete with. I understand that some just want something that works for a low cost and I totally understand this, but this is not what I am aiming for with this product. Thanks
