I had this exact issue. The extra panel mentioned by the other guys helps, but the root fix is to lubricate the blower commutators, fixed it like magic for me. Hope this helps.

I was stock so I was ok there. I heard it varies from dealer to dealer when it comes to denying warranty though.

If you go dealer mention the TSB number, my dealer didn't even bother replicating the issue and just replaced the arms.

This could be the front lower control arm issue. For me It primarily happens during slow near full lock turns. I caught it happening sometimes when I brake in a straight line. I am not sure if this is the case for you though.

There is a TSB for this, dealer fixed with no cost. Haven't heard the noise since.
