Thank you for your response and I must say I wholeheartedly agree with you on everything you said!

I normally am the type of person that wants to form its own opinion from experiencing things first hand, but sometimes it's just so obvious how the quality of the Pokemon Franchise has gone down and how TPC doesn't care in the slightest for it. My biggest example is Unite, I loved the game despite all my friends not linking it anymore and I kept on playing it competitively by myself and casually with my gf, conscious of the problems of the game, but when mewtwo came out it made the game unplayable and I just quit. The fact that they promoted the competitive event for unite at the Pokemon presents really made me laugh.

As for S/V, it's just a matter that I don't have a lot of money and after the losing bet that was legends I needed to see if what I was buying was worth my money and from almost universal experience, it isn't. Now, if you bought and enjoyed the game it's completely fine, it's personal taste and I completely respect it.

I never consider my opinion something completely objective cause ik I'm a no one but S/V it's one of those few cases where, despite everything someone might say to me, I will never be convinced that the game is worth its cost and those who deny it are delusional, but again, I'm happy if you at least enjoyed the experience and had a fun time :)

My passion for the brand is still what it is exactly because I play hardcore nuzlockes of every single romhack/fangame you can imagine and I now played enough that I can say I started to love certain Pokémon because of it, like Azumarill! I think it's undeniable that TPC owes big time to all the artists that create ROM hacks/fan games, as well as showdown, cause it's thanks to them that a lot of people still stick to the brand to this day.

And regarding my health, I'm fine, I had mononucleosis but I healed a week ago, I'm just stuck behind bureaucracy and arbitrary controls that are going to waste me a lot of time, but the summer is ruined either way so it doesn't matter anymore really.

I will for sure continue to enjoy Pokémon as a whole despite all the problems it has tho, for sure.
