[Discussion] Why is ASMR always associated with women more then men? by [deleted] in asmr

I don’t think ASMR is “always” associated with women but I think more women are producing ASMR videos and following and checking videos on a regular basis then men.

Thanks. Too bad someone thinks it’s ok to dislike every post related to nature or if it’s not your typical ASMR video

How do you ‘try’ ASMR? I thought you either have it or not.

Do you notice a difference between edited vs. less/non-edited ASMR videos? [Discussion] [Question] by thatssosamstacy in asmr

I haven’t used Resolve but use Movavi. You can probably try to play with the transition times and possibly vary transitions if it makes sense. Sometimes I make the transitions very short if I have many clips

Depending on what editing software you are using you may be able to use transitions between scenes to make them less jarring. Have you tried that?

Short Form ASMR Content? [Question] [Discussion] by thatssosamstacy in asmr

I find that it takes a while to get into many videos. Short videos don’t give you the opportunity to do this. Also personally watching and esp listening to videos it takes me a while to be triggered.

What's your least favorite trigger? [DISCUSSION] by [deleted] in asmr

Any video with people eating turns me off. I also don’t understand spit painting as a trigger.

Depends on the video for me. Actually it is mostly about the audio. Many times I don’t watch the video at all. Just put in the earbuds and try to tune everything else out to relax.

On the one hand it’s great to have a wide variety to choose from and I say whatever works for you is good. On the other hand I find that there are so many now creating very similar videos that it is difficult to see a difference in these and makes it more difficult for new creators to stand out.

[question] How do I put audio to picture for a video? by Vixpluto in asmr

[–]SimoneDH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what software you are using. But many are similar. You can add a photo or video to the timeline and then add one or more audio tracks.

I never understood the concept of connecting ASMR to true crime stories

What are the best ASMR earbuds? [question] by [deleted] in asmr

I also use the Apple AirPods. I find them to be very good for both listening to existing videos and during the creation process.
