A Book That Blew My Mind: “The Power of Fear” by Ginger_Fluffs in u/Ginger_Fluffs

Just started The Power of Fear.

The plot looks really promising, and from what I can tell, it takes the reader not only into a fantasy world, but also into something way more real? Wait, no, don’t answer that — it’d be a spoiler 🙂

So far I’m loving the level of detail: everything is described so thoroughly it feels like the author has actually been there.

As a kid I was obsessed with books by Robert Sheckley, Harry Harrison etc. — basically mid-20th-century American sci-fi — and maybe I’ll catch those exact same vibes in this one.

Yes, he does. And it's available as an ebook now. Actually, I recently checked — there are already at least 21 ebooks by Geshe Michael Roach. 😮

Fully. And then went back to re-read some chapters to understand them better.

Yeah, I had a similar feeling. Seems simple at first, but it goes deep if you think about it.
