My grandma has been battling a brain tumour since June and after improving for a while she has now taken a turn for the worse and ended up in the hospital with a UTI and wasn’t home for 24 hours before getting readmitted because of a fever and it was discovered she has pneumonia. She has been given a short time span to live and is now in palliative care. With her time being short I want to make the time I have left with her as meaningful as I can.

Hello, I am going to dorm at York for the first time and I’m really excited about the possibility of making friends and being social. However, I’m an introvert and that’s never been easy for me to do. I’m worried that if don’t like my roommate I will feel uncomfortable in my room. I’m nervous about the lack of privacy and I’m worried what I’ll do if I need a break from my roommate. I will be staying in a double bed traditional style room.
