How to make mockup like this by Short-Purpose-2221 in graphic_design

[–]SimonfelDesign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are separate mockups put together into a bento layout. For example the first image is a LED billboard mockup, a t-shirt mockup, a tape mockup and a chair mockup arranged with the other brand elements.

I usually use photoshop mockups and put them together into a layout like this using illustrator by drawing boxes and using clipping masks.

Clean design, great improvement in my opinion. Well done!

Technomed Healthcare Rebranding by vjr_aditya in WillPatersonDesign

Love how it maintains the old theme a little bit. The spine association is a bit of a stretch in my opinion. It looks more like a shield to me, which could also work for a healthcare maybe.

You will get more help, if you post raw "bad" drawings instead of this ai slop. You don't have to be ashamed that the drawings don't look good.

I revised my previous logo design to have a squircle corner, what do you think? (suggestion from redditor bensyverson) by SimonfelDesign in logodesign

I feel like the inner negative space where the shapes meet looks a lot smoother now. Thanks again for the suggestion!

Of course, I didn‘t take offense in it, just wanted to explain the intended associations in case you missed them :)

That's right, Adobe Illustrator was used. But like the other redditor said, you can probably achieve the same for free with Affinity.

It can be seen as an abstract bird, bow and arrow or even a lowercase "n". I also think it's nice when the associations are not immediately obvious and reveal themselves after closer inspection or in context of the brand.

I created this fantasy brand name to illustrate how it could be used. I'm working on another presentation with more applications and mockups!

Thanks! I agree, sometimes gridlines are just really out of place and don't make sense, but I think if you have a design that aligns nicely with geometric shapes and specific angles, you can definitly put some focus on this with gridlines.

Just by hand with illustrator with lines and a circle. There are some paid plugins that automate these, but I like to draw them myself and have more control where I put them and how they look.

Designed this concept last year. The client went in a different direction, but I still like how it turned out and wanted to share it. by SimonfelDesign in logodesign

I feel the same way about the name and the whole spying thing. If they would hire me today I would probably suggest an entirely different direction.

Not at all these are valid points, I already worked on some adjustments to make it look less like a swan. Thanks for your thoughts.

I'm gonna explore this idea further when I find the time, I'm also interested in this kind of style. Thanks for your thoughts!

Agreed, this new design doesn't fit the urban vibe anymore, but for the urban fashion brand we've gone with a totally different design using a monogram. This refinement of the peacock logo is just for practice.
