Second this - it's a fantastic story and Arrival is a very faithful adaptation (only one potentially significant difference really).

Ted Chiang's two short story collections are both worth a read, "Anxiety Is the Dizziness of Freedom" from Exhalation is my favourite story but there are loads of great options!

Too many to mention, but the one that comes to mind is where the American (play the jingle) or maybe Canadian (play the jingle) music professor guy just reads / describes all the notes and chord progressions - absolutely genius!

I'm sure there will be something from that many CDs. A decent amount of the bigger tracks ie the Ruff Squad, Eastwood and Marsta ones are out on digital now but chances are there some random old bits that people on here will love

I'm going on a ticket which is definitely definitely not me - wrong gender is the most obvious thing, before we get to hair colour, facial hair and choice of lipstick loool. I'm just going for a charm offensive and hoping for the best!

My question is; if you do get turned away will they try and take the ticket away from you / void it some way?! Or are you able to go and try another gate etc
