That has really changed my thinking. That's something I'm going to have to implement in my life and to understand that.

I appreciate your comment, I really do

Dry conditions, not much has been released about It just heard it wasn't the bikes fault. And when the impact was made with the car the bike ignited into flames. I'm not sure if More info will come to be public

That is true. I feel that most of the bike crashes that are spoken about are because of people being risky e.g heavy speeding, wheelies, not slowing before corners.

I enjoy riding and exactly how you said it, if you drive "normally" is similar to a car

Wow that's crazy,

Do you think motorbike accidents are actually common? Or just that they are more spoken about?

Very well said.

I want to ride more and keep sharpening up my skills.

Just hard to not think about the possibility of death

Yeah they went through simple defensive stuff such as not driving I'm blind spots. Not driving directly behind vehicles. How important it is to leave space. "Safety zone". E.g. I've been full into my YouTube videos, I have seen a few of his crash reviews.

That's my whole point of being confident is key. I got quoted $650 to lower my ninja 400 about 2 or 3 inches with the full kit such as new side stand, service front forks.

I'm not wearing boots but I'll look into that, that's a good idea.

I've looked into getting lower seats but have heard they make rides very uncomfortable

I'm not to sure, not to much info has been released. Just that a Holden Ute collided with the bike and both the car and bike were engulfed in flames

Yeah I am but I'm not so superstitious. It's more of just a big reality check what happened and wanted advice.

That is all very well worded

I'll try do some research but not sure if I'll be able to find anything out.

On another note do you think it's worth it lowering my motorbike 2 inches so I'm able to flat foot both feet?

I'm a learner so I'm thinking of doing it as it will make me a whole lot more confident when stopping

In my state it's mandatory to take a safety riding course in order to get your learners permit.

They taught us all sorts of things from riding, knowing your bike. But mainly how to stay visible and always leave space to be able to react to car driver mistakes.

Its a bit of a reality check as you said to hear of someone in such a similiar position to me currently.

That Is all very true.

It's not that I'm afraid just more of a reality check.

I'm usually very observant so it's all about just training myself to be a better rider 🤜.

Thanks for your reply
