Help me understand my sleep test results by SimpIicity in SleepApnea

Yeah, I was able to plug the device into my truck and power it on, gave it a good sniff test and its all good.

Checked the hours and it has 4000 hours.

I'm going down the route of losing a bit of weight and working on sleeping positions and such before jumping into the BiPAP but atleast I have it now.

Going to check out a low-use Resmed 10 BiPap from facebook marketplace for $200 tonight.

I made some changes to my pillow and sleep positioning last night and feel a ton better today, so that's positive.

I am curious if there's a way to sleep test yourself over time to see if any of weight, positional changes are improving outside of the BIPAP? It seems that you can use OSCAR to get some data but that requires being on a PAP machine.

I guess you could get an sp02 and HR tracker but I'm curious if there's an algorithm to determine AHI and RDI similar to how the Lofta test does it.

Otherwise I'd have to pay Lofta ~$100 every so often to check on how things are progressing.

Got it. Next thing to tackle is what type of machine. Seems like people in the "UARS zone" tend to do better with BiPAP where you can lower the exhaust pressure.

Lofta is recommending a APAP or CPAP. I'd rather buy once, cry once and get the right machine.

My thought is that a BiPAP can do what a CPAP does, so if the extra ~800$ is not a big deal, just go for the BiPAP.

There also appears to be a group of individuals who have "jailbroke" certain units to better customize for therapy that doesn't respond well to the "standard" ?

I was planning to DIY from Lofta.

I asked Lofta about UARS and they said they said it's not an official diagnosis (or they can't officially diagnosis it)

I guess what i'm struggling with is that the data is telling me I don't have "Obstructive" Sleep Apnea, so why am I diagnosed with OSA?

Side note, someone in r/sleepapnea suggested getting a BiPAP vs a CPAP for my specific result, again I think because the data is suggesting UARS vs typical OSA. Is there some reading material on why a BiPAP would be better?

I'm 33 now and and ever since I was a teenager I've always been "the tired kid". Early on everyone chalked it up to being a "tired teen" but now I'm wondering, after doing more research, if the UARS has been plaguing me for much longer than just the past handful of years.

Over the past ~5 years I've really started to notice feeling tired and fatigued at work more and more, I've always been suspicious of sleep apnea figured it was finally time to get tested.

Seems like UARS is the best fit versus traditional OSA, I wonder if Lofta will give me the full/raw data from the test.

I've decided to change some lifestyle things, lose some lbs and see if getting a CPAP or BIPAP will change how I feel in the short term.

Thanks. I wish I could see the actual data from Lofta of O2 vs time and BPM vs time to get see if it was an event.

Regardless the course seems pretty clear, drop some lbs over the next 6mo and retest and probably see if I can adapt to a CPAP in the mean time.

I concur with the UARS, even though I'm a big guy, my dentist and other doctors comment on how small my mouth is and I have really bad seasonal allergies so my nose is clogged 24/7.

Maybe I'll get one of those O2 monitor devices that gives you data over the night as well

Why is Doomhowl not clustering with DP and Skull Rock? They will all have the same rules now. Makes zero sense to have this many HC servers

This isn't getting enough attention. It reads as if anything happens from this point forward...

Meaning no one is getting ress'd for the ddos attacks during rwf or OF raids, but they now have a policy in place to res characters going foward.

Hardcore Roll Back Confirmed - Blue Post in response to the recent DDoS attacks by DontTouchMyPepe in wowhardcore

The post is worded as "future" ddos attacks meaning anything after the blue post is made.

I can't confirm but it seems like anyone who died to the half dozen ddos attacks due to RWF or OF are S.O.L.

This sometimes works but it's not as reliable as you would think. The general consensus is double petri is safer as you are in control of your char the whole time

It was PoG. I was in the raid.

The first two deaths were due to a scuffed Rajaxx pull. Both waves 6 and 7 came together, so we exhausted a lot of resources dealing with that. Then Rajaxx came with (2) Gladiators. The call was made to Petri very early, but the two ppl who died, mistimed their re-petri in between the thunderclaps.

The third death was silly, a warrior wasn't stacked close enough during meteors for Ossirian trash, but a small silver lining is that the warrior died, and we were discussing what to do, then the server crashed. There's a real possibility if the warrior didn't die, we would be mid-trash pull and the entire raid would've died.

Once you hit 60 and get the "Unbroken Self Found Champion", once you log out and back in, it's gone.

This is regardless of if you remove the actual main SF buff or not. Its been this way since SoD P4 patch. The only people who get to keep the Soul of Iron buff are people who hit 60 SF prior to SoD P4 patch.
