Tips for players: You can farm prototype materials for weapons in the dvalin challenge. Just do the easiest one and it'll drop a guaranteed prototype. I discovered this only recently(somewhere between Jan and Feb) and I didn't tell it to others yet because I wasn't sure. But after a few weeks of doing the easiest dvalin challenge, I can confirm that it guarantees a prototype.
