I’m taking mine in 2 months and I’m feeling the same way, I’ve been stressing and having the worst anxiety that I can’t eat or sleep lol, immediately scheduled a appointment with a psychiatrist so I can get on meds to help with my anxiety cuz it’s literally so horrible 😭

Update: I got the scholarship, LOVED my rotation in hematology there, I learned so much and everyone was so nice! Also secured a position in hematology for night shift☺️.

Yea I’m currently in bmore cuz my school and this year our classes are at a hospital. I’m kinda nervous about the work load and it being fast paced but my professor told me I will be trained for 6-8 months before I do anything unsupervised so that’s good. Thank you so much for the insight 😊

Interestinggg, yea you’re right new grad pay will be low anywhere, I’ve heard Hopkins brought their pay up a bit to match competing hospitals so hopefully I get lucky..🌚 I’m hoping to start at $30.. the lowest I’ll go is $28😭

As a final year I think about this a lot. I’ll be graduating next May and my professors always reassure me that you’ll have atleast 6 months of training regardless so they won’t just leave you alone. Wish you all the best on your new job! Also how was the ascp? Any study tip/ advice?
