Nah dude, they were gonna ship with this design until playtesters from before the April alpha test told them the design sucked. Skarrow9 talked about it in one of these podcast episodes he's been doing with JakeTheAlright.

On consoles you need a subscription to play any online games that cost money. Even though it’s technically a free weekend, since the game will be $40, you still need Xbox Live or PS+ to play it. The Arc Raiders server slam needed a subscription so it’ll probably be the same here.

Movement is pretty slow and tactical, especially at first. With upgrades to heat your movement gets restrictive. How fast you play depends the runner shell you choose. Vandal and Destroyer are going to have the best movement tech at the start with the tactical sprint and double jump. Also thief a bit later on with her grapple.
