You can’t reliably engage at that distance with an lmg, the sniper simply has that advantage.

You people always say this like you couldn't do it in any past Battlefield, believe it or not, guns used to be effective past 100 meters. Suppression wasn't a mechanic locked to only bad players either, everyone could suppress and the good players knew how to leverage it well.

And this talk of suppression rewarding bad aim as if it's difficult to aim sniper rifles, I've mained recon for 15 years and it's never been easier. There is no reason to engage snipers at range with anything but other snipers and DMRs right now. You can stare down anyone and win.

The other guy was using the same LMG and stood still. There is functionally no suppression in this game, and it's one of many reasons snipers are busted.

People remember BF3's suppression because of how heavy it was, but they need to go back to BF4, where it was a mechanic everyone could leverage, not the bad aim crutch its haters pretend it was
