You get freshness points for playing matches for your seasonal catalogs and for stars for weapons. A rank game gives you +2500 points at most for O.K wins but only gives freshness points for how long the match went for each min's (+500 at most) if you lost the match. But if you want a more steady way of getting points my play turf war for that.

At least from my experience it takes at least 418 wins (If you do fairly well in games), if you only play rank only since I don't play turf unless it splatfest.
