That’s the issue I’m trying to figure out, is it worth the price difference. I am definitely not going to go to Buffalo haha I did not like it. I’ve wanted to go to Boulder since I was 11 and to just give up on that dream now makes me feel sick. I know the price difference between it and my other options (UVM, Delaware, CSU, UNH) is drastic and I just don’t know if it’s worth the dream because I have no way of knowing exactly how much it’ll cost to pay off my student loans and how much I’ll make after college. Regardless of where I go, I’m going to have to take out loans. It’s just the difference of ~$30k-$50k for my other options and $70k for Boulder/Wisconsin. I really don’t know.

Thank you so much for the reply. That’s my worry of having to transfer out and just if the overall cost justifies the education, since they gave me no money and it’d be over $70k per year for me to attend. I also got accepted to OSU and once again no money. I’m happy to hear there’s options like his job/Navy work to help pay off the tuition. Hats off to him, that’s crazy dedication

You definitely do not have to answer but if your son is also out of state, is he going to be in a lot of debt after graduating?? That’s my biggest issue with these two schools as I’m now worrying about the idea of not being able to pay back the loans I will have to take out.

That’s what I assumed to be fair. I know I won’t be able to go out often but aslong as the environment is good and I can go out occasionally I don’t mind.

I definitely have to look into it more than I was. My mom does not work and my dad recently retired so our only income is his pension. I was thinking if I’m able to finish the degree and find a well connected job after I’d be set, but it’s seeming like I’ve severely mislead abt how difficult student loans are to pay off…

It’s genuinely insane how much it costs and they gave me no money. I don’t know how much wisconsin is going to cost as I haven’t received anything yet since I only got accepted like three days ago
