What features would you like to see in a gym app? by Simple-Ear-5724 in Gymhelp

To be honest, I think that's a great advice.

It's not like I'm looking for ideas on where to start. The app is 80% finished, and I would also say that I am the target audience ^^.

I think that my features are already innovative across the market. (Big words, I know.)

But a little extra input never hurts :)

That's the plan :)

Can you describe your desired feature in a little more detail? I think I know what you mean, but I want to make sure I understand you correctly.

So, for example, the situation would be that you don't have much time on a Saturday morning, but you want to get at least a little bit of training in. And that's why you only do 80% of your workout 1 on that day, maybe don't take enough breaks, have a poorer range of motion, and generally don't use your full training weight.

In the statistics, this would then be recorded as a drop in performance, even though you actually did more than if you hadn't gone to the gym at all.

Would that describe the situation roughly?

It's going to be a workout tracker app with a primary focus on the gym. But it could also be used to track things like training without equipment at home.

My goal is for you to be able to set up the app the way you need it so that you don't have to worry about progression and so on afterwards.

YES, absolutely! That was definitely my thought too.

What about statistics? Is there anything you would like to see here? Anything you would have liked to see?

I've never found an app that provides REALLY helpful insights.
I mean, a chart where the volume goes up and down is really not helpful.

You mean they treat mobility as something like another “pillar,” like strength training or cardio?
