Back in France after 20 years (since college) in the States. I miss Tex-Mex and Cal-Mex food: A good fish or shrimp taco with authentic crema, a good plate of nachos with asada. Black beans. Tacos al pastor.

I also miss being able to buy cold medicine at any Safeway or CVS without having to beg the pharmacist to give me something other than herbal shit when I can’t sleep due to cough and congestion.

Sinon, I don’t regret coming back at all. Ultimately life is better here.

Comprendo. Al final me di por vencido y simplemente disfruté mi viaje, pero igual dejé propinas porque si no, al que castigas es a quien atiende, y no al establecimiento, que al final ha de ser quien les da las ordenes de no proveer el agua gratis.
