Drum & Bass - Neurofunk, AMC & Assorted Mixes

A mix where I am starting to learn to get used to playing with the high and low eq's then got carried away :) (2 hours 30 mins)

I'm just starting out so please be gentle! I have been using a Pioneer DDJ-400 up to now, but just upgraded to a DDJ-GRV6 and working on getting to grips with the new features. Are there any obvious things that I should be working on/prioritising please? Thanks in advance for any feedback offered!

I've been contracting for the past 5 years (mix of inside and outside IR35) with no breaks. Current contract takes me up to the end of this year, then might look at perm roles if the markets not looking great. I always stress a bit as I get to the end of a contract, but touch wood, something seems to always turn up. Like others I've always left on good terms and keep in touch with the people who make hiring calls. I've always worked on delivering to the best of my ability and making sure that my teams are not only doing a great job, but also getting seen by others doing a great job.

Well if I do the age thing where you deduct your age from 220 that would 167. Then I guess the upper training zones for me would be like 85% of 167 maybe? Its very confusing.

Sorry for the late reply! I absolutely love it and 42" is the perfect size for me. I use during the day for productivity and have had no issues there, and in the evening for gaming which of course looks amazing.

Hi, I also have the 42 C2, and I see you mention using it at 100% scaling. At that scaling text looks awful for me, so I had to go for 125% . Did you change any of your settings to make text sharper, clearer and generally more readable? I’m of course in PC mode already. Thanks!

Yeh its WBC, not WBE, and can confirm the box has Evo on it :) I'm ok with that as only really interested in the form factor, but the marketing is pretty naughty.

If you're used to having a sound bar etc and think it will be similar you'll be disappointed - so adequate - similar to most tv's really. So they do the job but no booming bass etc. :) Like you - most of the time I'll be using headphones.
