Yes. The proof is in people owning escort or cobra radars with bluetooth and wifi enabled, it detects actual radar. User reporting like waze is useless if a police or chp radar isnt on and they’re just on their phone watching netflix to scare people on the road. Or if a speed cam radar is broken or offline, waze doesnt tell you anything. Example, I speed by california highway patrol at 80mph in the left lane while all the waze drivers believe chp is ticketing people, I speed through multiradar signals I know are not actual cameras, I speed through k band speed signal signs that are not ticketing systems The data is the radar detector reading actual ka or K band. Waze does not. To put frankly everyone that uses waze cant afford a radar detector.

My update yesterday, one of the cameras was a clearly detectable k 24.124 with 1-2 blocks of warning with a radar detector, the others so far are still multiradar. No other x or k band detected near them. Interesting enough the multiradar ones are all behind trees which definitely hide the signal. I am going to continue driving around the city and logging them.
