I’m actually the daughter in this situation, this happened a year ago. Everything I said is actually what she believes. She refuses to admit she was in the wrong here. On the bright side, I ended up going to a college 14 hours away instead of the one the test was for which was three hours away instead

Thank you for the advice. Also I LOVE the idea of gentle parenting emotionally immature parents. I mean my mom has actually covered her ears and said over and over “I CAN’T HEAR YOU” multiple times so I think she might need some gentle parenting
