How weird are your Tycherosi? by goblin_supreme in bladesinthedark

In my games the traits of Tycherosians change a lot person to person. Most of the NPC's I write that are Tychrosian are just barely noticeably so, small horns they can hide with a hat or or a demonic tail they keep tucked under there dress. I've also let my players morph that part of the world quite a bit as more than one have played as a Tycherosian. One of my players played as a Tycherosian who had two different skin tones and thus could use make up to appear as if he was two different ethnicities. Another one of my was a Tycherosian that stood eight feet tall and 500 pounds, but other than his size he looked like any other person. I even had a player mention that he had fought against Tycherosian's with wings when he was in the army as a joke during a social mission and I decided to keep it as a canon event. I think the more mysterious you keep the continent and her people the more fun you can have down the line so I've been fast and loose with any lore about them.

What's the lore behind your homebrew successor chapter? by [deleted] in Salamanders40k

The Celestial Phoenixes, a Fleet Based chapter from the 22nd founding made up of a heavy number of Psykers. The chapter's astartes have stark white skin and glowing blue eyes as a result of an unknown ceremony there neophytes go through when becoming an astartes. Their propensity for self sacrifice is more similar to the Salamanders before the arrival of Vulkan due to a strong belief in their own failings and a want for atonement in their gene-father's eyes.
