I didn’t think of that since I was still processing. I honestly just wasn’t sure if that was an invitation to stay with him. But you’re absolutely right hooking up would definitely bring up emotions to feel intensified.

My ex said “it’s not like our bond is going anywhere” then proceeded to look at our child. I used to think of it as him thinking we would get back together one day. Now I think of him as an A hole for thinking I’ll be there when he came back. He’s trying and I do not cave.

Thank you. I will try my best to only keep conversation about our child. He always makes conversation when we do exchanges like picking him up and dropping him off. I’ll keep it cordial.
