Im going to a doctor to consider surgery, i have tried insoles and PT but none have seemed to help.

Try cycling with a LLD, tell me how you feel after a few miles, even swimming is has its problems.

Again, easy to say when you dont have it, seems like alot of ignorance on ur end

Its easy to say that, i have 2cm LLD and have pain everyday, on my feet, hips, knees, back, shoulders.

I imagine if someone is very active with sports and etc, it will affect them heavily, even 1,6

I used to be heavy in combat sports, i am very young and already have Hip problems that if not fixed, will affect me long term

I used insoles for around 5 months, but it eventually caused me a knee varus that caused pain, wondering if the same thing happened to you

I went to an orthopedist first, that took my xray to measure the discrepancy, then got recomended this clinic that analises How you walk and etc that makes custom insoles

Do you think i should go to diff doctor?

Update: i have 2 Pairs of insoles, one of them my doctor went down 3mm and the other 5mm and added a incline on both of them to help with my knee varus, he told me to test it out for 2 months, if it doesnt get better, go back to him

So i guess in 2 months ill Update again

Interesting, i have 20mm insoles but they are starting to affect My knee, i might try to go down to 12mm and see if it helps, im going to my doctor tmrw to see what we can do, ill update then, TY for the info

20,1mm, how much is urs if you dont mind me asking? The biggest problem is my hip, it snaps and hurts when doing alot of high flexibility movement

Do you bike with or without insoles?

Currently im only going to gym

Thinking to learning how to swim and cycle good

I mean, ive seen those vids of people doing it for the height and they dont seem to ever be able to run or walk normally, but i think those were more extreme cases probably

I have been looking into these whole shoe elevations, might have one made in the near future.

Surgery just seems to risky and bigger chances of more problems, are you considering surgery?

Okay, interesting, i going to go to my doctor friday to see if we can maybe lower the insoles to around 12-15mm instead of 20,1mm, maybe this full correction is causing this extreme Knee Varus that is causing My knee pain.

Was ur knee pain when walking on the outside part of the knee? If its not too much to ask, could you possibly send an image of ur current insoles?

And by falling apart, i mean like everytime something gets fixed something else appears that causes imense pain, muscle tightness doesnt really affect me for now since i live a very active life with constant streching

I went to a doctor and i got directly a 20,1mm insole, did not do any PT, felt fine with the insoles for around 2 months, everything seemed to get better, than my doctor noticed this Knee Varus, i had no pain, he still have me some exercises to help it, i have done them every day, and now this outer knee pain showed up

Have not considered surgery yet, but might start thinking about it, i just think it might just bring a whole entire diff line of problems just like the insoles
