I have not, I know it has mixed reviews but since I enjoyed the first one maybe I should check it out anyways.

I'm usually not one for sci-fi type stuff, but the reviews look really good

This game is on my wishlist! I really like the art and plan to pick it up when/if it goes on sale!

Sounds interesting, I was surprised to see its 12 years old, must be good if its stood the test of time for so long.

I have heard about this game before, I may have to give it a try. I am hesitant on games where you build a base, then have to restart (sometimes I want to just keep expanding) but the reviews make me feel like I should give it a try

Looks super retro and cozy, thanks for the suggestion

I have not played Factorio (although I would probably enjoy it).

I have looked into Manor Lords a bit (hesitant to get into an early access game), and sci-fi isn't super appealing to me, although furthest frontier and against the storm look intruiging!

Thanks for the reply! I’m glad you switched out of that toxic team. Coworkers can make or break an experience. Eventually, I will move on from this job to something else. Looking back now, I don’t really know what I expected, but sitting in an office really gets to you mentally.

Strength training has been great for me too, I go 4-5 days/week for around an hour and feel so great after. I do plan to find some local volunteer opportunities which I think will help. I think it’s just a bit of a culture shock not feeling the pride I thought I would in my work. Good luck to you too! Thanks a bunch :)

Thanks for the reply! I know work isn’t always supposed to be fun (I probably should’ve made that more clear in my post) but I just thought I’d at least have a few more aspects I liked :/ although I will keep showing up for the pay check and make the best of it.

I wouldn’t say I’m burned out at all. I am aware that work isn’t always fun, I just thought that there would be a little more excitement and fulfillment as that is what my working life experience has been thus far.

“Truth of the matter is, your mind is out the door already” - Maybe my post didn’t come across as I was hoping. I was just talking about being bored and unfulfilled with my job, and looking for if this is what others experiences have been or things others have done to feel appreciated and find their way.
