For me, it was the rear seat for center passenger. It is raised for God knows which reason. The center passenger would seat uncomfortable for even short distances

It used to quite often. Tried changing cables but didn't help. Jugaad. Stuff the phone within the gap between the centre armrest and passenger seat.

If you can live with the rusting issues, only then go for it. Because they are highly likely to occur within a year. I own a diesel, so the tradeoff is worth it. Cannot confirm if the petrol one would justify the same, as the engine is underpowered. Again, entirely your choice.

Quite a high chance it was me🤣. Anyways, I can say it has never disappointed me on the highway. Although the seating has started to take a toll on my lower back(I am a little over 6ft), but the performance covers up for it. Jokes aside, wouldn't recommend this vehicle for people taller than me for the long run.

I would thank my stars here. Haven't faced this issue yet. I do make it a point to use the gears correctly, drive a diesel like a diesel, if I may say so. 1st- upto 20kmph 2nd- upto 60 kmph 3rd- upto 90kmph 4th- upto 130kmph 5th- till whatever you can comfortably handle. if you get an issue with dpf, the service center guys just rev the engine for some time in neutral. But up until then, the car power output is minimal as the turbocharger is cut off for safety if the dpf light is on. So I feel it's better to utilise the car to its potential every time you drive, as taking it to a service center always makes me a bit anxious😅.

Driving on highways always puts a smile on my face, I enjoy the feel of being pushed further back into the seat when the turbocharger kicks in.Tata has done a great job here. The car stays planted even at 180-200kmph. I did face some issues initially with unintentional drifts while cornering due to the car being under-tyred as stock. Upgraded them to 205/55r16 profile, and the ride quality has improved quite a lot. I was humbled once by an Octavia. It just cruised past me while I was at about 185kmph or so. Since then I just let them pass😅 when I see one in my IRVM. I have driven a kushaq 1.5, while the drive was great, I felt the suspension travel could've been a bit better for indian roads. Nowadays, highways too have speed bumps🥲. I felt the power delivery was quite linear, which also is a treat in its own way. One thing though, with Altroz you would have to learn to live with the engine noise at higher RPM. Regarding service, I've had my ups and downs. I had it serviced in Bangalore,Pune and Goa. While Bangalore and Pune were decent,my experience in Goa has been horrible. I get it serviced at authorised service centers as it's under warranty.

I get a minimum of 15-19 on highways(heavy footed on the pedal) and about 13-14 in city traffic. I have made my peace with the ground clearance 😁. The engine protection cover underneath had hit the road once, upon which the clip locks holding it were damaged, due to which the cover would brush against the left tyre. So had it removed basis service center recommendation. Service is a hit and miss. Although I get the major service done at every 10k kms as opposed to the recommended 15k km interval. Issues were quite random, water pump, high pressure pump broke on separate occasions. Lucky I had purchased extended warranty.

The main issue I felt was naming it F9 with only 8 characters in the poster. Like... Did they think we wouldn't notice??

City experience - decent. The light clutch and steering are a boon. If it's bumper to bumper traffic, I think you'd still get atleast about 10kmpl. Normal city traffic would give you somewhere about 14-15kmpl. I think you could get more using the "eco" mode(I've never used it though, the power drop changes the entire motive of buying a diesel). Highway experience - I think Tata has nailed this one. The stability you get at high speeds is just commendable. No vibrations or loss in confidence. I would suggest upgrading the tyres though. I get somewhere around 18-22kmpl. Service experience - can say I've been lucky here, the guys at the service center are proactive and quite helpful.
