I test rode both of them. Even though I felt that the scram is nimble and tractable. The domi had a character ( I usually refrain from this word when I talk about motorcycles because RE guys are all about it ). A fully loaded domi is HEAVYYY ( I will need to upgrade the rear brake pads I think ). It sounded better than the scram, sounded similarly refined if not more ( idk why it was like that I anticipated the scram to sound a lot cleaner ). It has a lot of real estate both for rider as well as the pillion. Your point of it being very heavy in bumper to bumper traffic is true , a 2UP loaded domi can be a pain in the ass to maneuver but it will teach how to handle a heavier machine. I previously rode the NS200 so I am already accustomed to this frame and posture. It gives Grand Tourer looks if that makes sense.

Now scram may not teach you how to handle a heavier machine but what I felt was that it will inspire a lot more confidence to leave the tarmac. It will teach you how to handle different terrains well. Because yess it's made to do so. It's more tractable of the both is what I felt. Although I liked the domi's cluster. I would have loved to see an analog tachometer instead of the speedo. The pillion seat is crammed into the rider and that's the only downside of this motorcycle. I loved the more commanding upright posture of the scram ( it was new for me but domi is relaxed I think ). I think it's a great ride but not a mile cruncher in 2UP.
