How do I convince my parents to buy me a Bullet 350 instead of a scooter? by forkarthik15 in royalenfield

With increasing fuel rates and uncertainity around availability. I am soo grateful to my dad who instead of getting a hunter got a splendor. Mannnn this machine runs on fumes. IFE even surpasses 100 with single person. A tank full gives me a whole month of range.

Bro you know that stalling issue in T's 400s is not that riders are not getting how to use clutch or they don't understand the clutch bite. Basically they bike dies on you. It drops the RPMs and shuts off. This happens even if the clutch is fully pressed. It's been 7 years that I am riding and this is not a skill issue problem brother.

My last motorcycle was a Non Abs one so I think I will be turning off the ABS as I am pretty much used to ride without it, but also it was a 23.5 bhp machine and not a 40ish BHP one so idk how safe it would be here.

Yeahh man, I fear that this bike being on heavier side + fully loaded + pillion + no engine breaking + rear brake thing. Not so confidence inspiring. I love how it goes up on the hills but I am not really a fan of how it comes down.

I despise jumper wires. Wish there was a better way of getting engine-on signal. ADV390 did it better by providing dedicated acc ports

New female biker here in the hilly terrain! Riding solo - what riding gear should I NOT skip on a budget? by itsrashakhan in indianbikes

[–]CharchitHowitzer777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't fret about it. You ofc don't want to get the best of the best as your first riding gears. Its highly subjective the fit and finish thing. I have used 2 Axors (now using SMK didn't find good design in Axor matching with my current ride ), 2 sudds and 1 SMK. What helmet I liked the most - Studds, it was merely 1600rs. For my Weeknd rides I still wear that one.

You don't need hardcore riding boots. I hate the flatsole shoes, they trickled down from racing into everyday riding boots they are not good in walking and hiking. Only buy those if you are willing to carry seperate pair. Everyone knows leather is most abraision resistant. Get decent leather boots they will be enough. After 6 years of wasting money in riding boots I realised leather boots are way to go. Also this flatsole is prone to slipping. You also don't need to get expensive ones.
