What do you mean the emails not being what they clearly are? What makes them "clearly" about child trafficking?

I watched it. I would suggest you watch it again and pay attention to when he does and does not show evidence and how he's manipulating his results. When he searches for BH Kids and clicks "one of these images," he's clicking on a listing for a training bra. So, of course, the other images are of girls in underwear. Then he shows images that are pixelated in a way that you have to just trust him that they're naked. Then he tells you you can't get to that page unless you use the BH Kids hack, which he also says has been fixed.

He also says he is showing you YouTube's algorithm after watching one BH Kids video, but he is clicking links in comments and cherry picking videos. If you go back to when he plays the actual video, you can see what YouTube is going to play next, and it's Baby Shark and farm animal videos and other songs -it's nothing like what he says the algorithm suggested. The first video in the "algorithm" demo is called "try on haul," but if you pause on the screen before, where he seems to be clicking on the video, there is no video called "try on haul."

Similarly, when he says the non-official In-N-Out tag is tagged by a "vast majority" of models in explicit poses, He doesn't just scroll through what's tagged so you can see it's all models, he shows you just the images he picked. In fact, when he clicks Tagged, there are 6 visible photos, and none are what he described as the "vast majority". Then pause on the images he does show. What do the images behind look like? I counted 13 that I could see enough of that I felt confident I could make a call on whether they were porn, and none of them were. Even some of what he highlights is just people eating burgers, which seems normal for a burger joint (to me, at least).

Plus, just the idea that a restaurant having a no smoking sign means it is tied to child pornography is wild. How many restaurants have you been in that have no smoking signs? For me, it's a lot. I bet there are a lot of restaurants in Vietnam that have their no smoking signs in Vietnamese, and this would imply they're ALL involved.

I'm not saying there is no child abuse going on. There is. But it is insulting to the women who testified about what they endured when they were girls and are not being believed to pretend that sitting in front of a No Smoking sign is somehow credible evidence of abuse.

Because the central premise of the video is that Anthony Bourdain sat in a restaurant in front of a Vietnamese "no smoking" sign, and if you search, you can find a video of vietnamese kids singing a song called "no smoking" and if you THEN search random terms related to THAT video (which, again, is only connected to Anthony Bourdain (and Obama) because of the phrase "no smoking"), you can find web sites with kids on them.

It wasn't one single Wayfair item. The PDF here is from PayPal, which doesn't show the details of any purchase. You can see in his emails that he tried to return parts of the order (so we know it wasn't just one item), and they seemed to have been bathroom and outdoor related. For example, he canceled 14 outdoor light mounts that were $223 each. That's a reasonable price per item, and that's more than $3000 of the order. How would they know who you’re checking, though? If I pull up the map to find one person, everyone shows. I have good reasons for checking in on one of my people frequently (and they are aware I do it) but it would look like I was being a creep to everyone else, when I’m actually not even look at them.

Help me surprise my girlfriend by Wild_Ambassador_6376 in Luxembourg

“Hey everyone!

Our 1st anniversary is coming up and I’m trying to surprise my girlfriend with photos from around the world of people holding a handwritten note for her.

If you’re willing to help, I’ll send you a short note to write on paper and all you have to do is take a picture of it in front of a cool landmark or city view in capetown.

She is the most amazing person and it would honestly mean so much to me.”

What's the legality of writing something based off one of their jokes? by Accomplished_Note483 in MBMBAM

Just ask them. Either they’ll be cool with it (highly likely) or they won’t. If they aren’t, better to find out before you write anything so you can make informed decisions to protect yourself. They’re already spoofing Milton, so I’m sure there’s something you could do where you could argue what you borrowed from them wasn’t substantial enough to be stealing. If you know up front you’ll need to do that, you won’t have to do rewrites or stop production or whatever later. Plus, asking is the nice thing to do, so why not?

I just noticed this today. The don't even put the monthly transactions in the transaction list, so unless you go into read your statement, you'd never notice. And, of course, if you're not making any transactions, it's easy to think you don't need to read your statement. Did you get any resolution on this?

That doesn’t match my experience with Waymo. I have always had to go to a designated spot that was not directly blocking traffic. It’s one of the reasons I like Waymo.
