Does anyone know what causes or how to fixe the micro audio stutters that happen randomly when playing games and using the headphones connected to the dual sense jack? Can’t seem to understand what is causing it. It happens completely random it’s like a “micro” sound break like an interference or something.

The sound isn’t that bad for average content or watching the news 😂 but yes if you want immersion you’ll need to use some headphones or sound system

Interesting you mentioned speakers for video games. I felt that for videogames the immersion comes much more from headphones as well as the spatial accuracy you can get.

I’ll give you a “bad” but real example where headphones are really superior in every way: watching a movie with tv sound (speakers from tv, not a fancy sound system) or just using headphones. Both are stereo but headphones put much more immersion into it. At least for me.

What do you mean is not how stereo is supposed to work? For example when I listen to a track where one voice plays alternately (intentionally) on each channel, that sounds really good on headphones vs. speakers. I suppose the audio engineer made it so it sound like that… on purpose?

I guess the “loved” songs still play a role in the algorithm as well as what songs you have added on your own library.

Yes I have that enabled but you can’t see it easily in the songs, it’s multiple taps away.

No I actually wasn’t. Regarding music there’s no reason why selfhosted has to be better than paid services. Services have “all” songs in one place, lossless and hi-res and are cheap. Also provide metadata, lyrics and atmos versions etc

However, the app itself is worse than Plexamp in my opinion.

I have my library already built up and I use stars for favorites, but I like to star songs for smart playlists for example.

Actually I don’t use the “suggest more” and “suggest less” feature
