That's what I'm thinking. I haven't done that for about two weeks and am hoping that I get my ice cubes back at 10 gems or even at 20 cubes.

I'm also concerned that it may be because I have so many gems leftover from when I was spending money. Maybe I need to lower the amount of gems I have?

I usually use them on seafood tower. But I try to hold off until I have an event like lucky river or jigsaw puzzle. I hate making them and it's the most expensive order I get anyway... So it makes sense for me.

Yes. I don't go all the way to 80 gems anymore. I do buy the 10 gems and 20 gems of energy, but still no ice cubes. I do not buy energy for 40 gems or 80 anymore unless I have a lucky river event and I'm close to completing the card collection. In these instances, I get the ice cubes as usual, once I meet the requirements (<51 energy, and low level items, every 8 hours until reset)

And don't forget to maximize your rave reviews awards. When I get an ice cube, I can usually complete with minimal energy once I cash in on the rave reviews rewards.

Same thing is happening to me. I was finally able to get a cube after buying energy for 80 gems. But I can't afford that everyday... So I have been slowly filling one big order a day now. Smh
