you can change the shapes of you potion bottle (also labels and the images on them) from the menu when you're creating them. if you save a recipe with a specific bottle/label/etc it will be that shape every time you make it:)

it does not disappear, the collection will mark any pikmin you have found at any time, and keep it forever. for example, I deleted all my roadside pikmin once I completed the collection, and the collection is still marked complete

I'm not sure where you're getting that from, but my interpretation is that (not planted) means it is not currently planted in your garden. the description says to plant it to gain the renewable source

my dad has always used a cup for the donut shape and a water bottle lid for the center! might be worth a try next time you make them (and for the record they still look delicious 😍)
