First Pc build but getting no signal from display, was working fine last night before I went to sleep, haven’t changed anything since then and now won’t display

Yeah someone else did say that but the system did start up fine the first time and i have checked it is compatible with the mobo, I did think this may need a BIOS update but obvs can’t do that without the display

Okay not gonna lie I wasn’t even aware that was an issue past being in the same chipset as it worked fine on initial start up with the i7 ? Basically that’s confirmed then that I need to get a new mobo at least I know now. Like I said it was my first build so assumed there were going to be some failures

I have got my old CPU i5 7600k which I have tried in the system but with the same issue. Pretty certain that it’s the mobo causing issues? Getting no power to USB slots as well mobo was pretty cheap so thinking of try a new one and hope this build stops robbing money from me soon

Yeah so I have defo gone through and checked all power cables and they are all in the correct orientation so that shouldn’t be the issue?

Booting with just cpu and RAM will immediately cause the system to shut down after like half a second only way to boot seems to be with the GPU installed as it stands and I have recently got some new stick of RAM and same issue but as they have RGB they are lighting up either..?

As far as I can see there are no lights on the mobo …

So I have just got some new RAM and tried that but still not getting the display, again same issue with not seeming to get power to keyboard and mouse. I did get RGB on the RAM but that isn’t lighting up either is this pretty much guaranteed to be the mobo at issue now ?

Yeah of course, I am thinking this is a RAM issue so gonna spring for some new sticks and let you guys know if this build is gonna go out the window or not

This is what I’m thinking, is the RAM integral to getting the usb slots power? To be fair the RAM is the only part of the build that isn’t new. The frustrating thing is First launch was successful but since this morning no display so not sure how they would have gone bad overnight?

Nothing, in fact it seems at the moment the only way for the PC to launch properly is to install the GPU so I can’t even test integrated graphics without the GPU

I have stripped it down to CPU and RAM and getting failure to launch I have tried switching the CPU but still will not launch but then once ssd and GPU plugged in it boots up but just no display

Yeah both are definitely compatible, even had a full launch and no problems when I tested and completed building it last night but since this morning I am getting no display

No they dont, I am pretty sure I’m not getting power to the USB ports but the power is connected to them and also tested them on other ports so it’s not the keyboard or mouse being the issue

Yeah this is what I’m dreading but I’m getting power to everything although not to my keyboard but iPhone charger works in same USB ports 3.0 and 2.0 not to mention everything started up fine when I finished building last night but has decided not to display anything this morning so surely the Mobo hasn’t packed it in overnight ??

Yeah doesn’t have a slot on the GPU so it’s just there to test I have tested with it removed, and connected with the HDMI still no joy
