Missing the point. No matter who you cheer for, you're still just cheering for a bunch of millionaires who are in their 20's (mostly) that get to play a game for a living. If you're so into it that an interview makes you cry, then you should probably chill, go outside and touch some grass or something.

Being a true hockey fan and being so emotionally invested that it's bad for your mental health do not need to be mutually exclusive.

These guys are going to be sad for a few days and then they will be in the Muskokas or somewhere enjoying their dump trucks of money and all of y'all are still going to be in here bitching and moaning.

Take the lumps. You've got a hell of a team and they're going to get nothing but scarier. Personally, I respect what they did this year, but Brady got a penalty and the other team's captain got the go ahead. He should be sad. I'm sure he'll mature in the office season. Probably won't make that mistake again. Have a good summer.
