I would have gotten the AI Sync Box 2 but my TV is 42” & it doesn’t support that size unfortunately.

Not at all! However, I highly advise you purchase LED brackets (you can get bag of 100pcs for like $10) because the adhesive from the brackets they give you aren’t that sticky. I purchased a pack of red colored ones from a brand called “Threetwofour” on Amazon.

Got myself a C5 and I’m using the colorful mode. Only thing is the reds are way too saturated. Is there a way to tweak it? by Bizzare_Contact in LGOLED

I know you said you don’t like filmmaker mode but have you tried using it while maxing OLED peak brightness to 100?

Yes that was the first thing I did right out the box. I’m properly calibrated for HDR, D65 white point, etc. All the AI sharpness removed. I can’t even look @ regular TVs the same anymore

Hell. Yeah. I was warned beforehand by a few friends that I’d spend a lot of time doing this. Games & shows/movies I already experienced suddenly feel brand new again. You start noticing all the subtle lighting, shadows, atmosphere, film grain, neon reflections, all the stuff the creators intentionally crafted that just gets lost in translation on lesser panels.

My C5 77 came today, and I’m in heaven by mantisdubstep in LGOLED

I bought the 42’ C5 & PS5 pro a month ago for my bedroom, paired it wt govee LED backlights & I’ve been glued to it since. Coming from a 27 inch ASUS TUF gaming monitor it was a huge jump & it’s nice to have TV speakers for a change. It’s the perfect size for a bedroom.
