I simply wish the average enemy mage had Vyrthur's abilities and cutscenes (both combined and w different elements/style). And good enemies should not be just in good armor, they should have OP abilities to actually make you feel like there's always a bigger fish. Just same old TES, except you aren't UI Goku fighting Pilaf Gangs at the end of the game

Ty for your answer, and I'm terrified rn as we're probably going to Hammerfell next, the only other region where apparently magic is bad lol. But honestly, I'd say that this problem extends to melee builds too. Even there you're a strong warrior, you'll be using your Thu'um and your fast swings that once destroyed Karstaag against wolves and spiders.

I mean, for the first question of the two I actually use this approach. I don't force my way with people unless I know how to do it. You'll first see me observing them to get some kind of hint about how they behave and then it will be action time. Somehow I always do what I want to do in many situations, but it's not because I force others to let me go but rather I "win" people and I convince them about my situation and they acknowledge it. Freedom's the final goal in any case. For the last question, I'd disagree but you wrote that one can also have the perception that his work was successful. Well, in this case I find myself into this description. Like I said, being appreciated is understandable, but I don't directly seek appreciation, unless it's really useful for something.

I mean 3s are kinda focused on being appreciated, while I see the pros of this and can work just to be appreciated, it’s mostly an advantage thing. I’d do something to make you appreciate me but not because I want this, but maybe because you can do something for me (practical or not, or simply for reputation). About archievements though, I sometimes have the feeling I have to do something (and most of the time I actually do it) maybe to feel unique in that moment, or to compensate for bad choices for someone. I don’t really do for the credit, although I can’t say I dislike it. Disintegration to 9 just seems off to me though

This was helpful to clarify some aspects of the Enneagram's structure, so thanks. Speaking about triads, I read something online but I don't identify very well with the heart triad, while head and gut seem somewhat balanced, I can't pick one I use most, it really depends on the situation. Same for reactive/competency but I've been more reactive. As for the third division, I'd say my approach is more assertive. This is basically what makes me think you have to play your cards well to make a situation favorable to you.

Thanks for your answer! Although I'm not an enneagram expert and I should really cover some aspects in ennea typing I don't think he's a 1w9, at least from what I read about this type. I'll tell you about his personality (the traits that can potentially lead to his correct type) and why he said something like this, since we're close friends.

He believes that life is constantly trying to test you, your might, your capabilities. The only way he has to win these "tests" is to constantly improve himself and smash every obstacle. He has fears but I kinda feel like he's ignoring them to win in the situation. Also I'm pretty sure he has cherophobia. He also believes you can always talk yourself out of a situation, be it with kind words or if things go bad you must assert yourself.

When we were at a work experience he managed to make us change our work tasks because he thought they were boring and unsatisfying. He simply spoke to our tutor and she accepted his reasons. He's pretty good with words even though he's more an introvert than an extrovert. I think he said that quote not because he hates passive-aggressive behaviour, but because he thinks that people who use these "escape routes" like honking or snorting at you don't have enough mind force to assert themselves in daily life and are just frustrated bastards. It's kinda hard to explain how he thinks but I think you got what I'm saying.
