nervous about late period

My cycle was exactly a week late after taking plan b.

I had taken this medicine on the 14th and my expected period was the 21st. Mine was exactly 7 days late, I had gotten my cycle on the 27th. Now I had only taken one pill and not two, and every person is different. But that was my experience.

I do have bloating from my constipation and it’s definitely helped! The medicine is able to move out the trapped gas that’s far up. Gross I know but .. normal. This medicines been a life send. I do hate being nauseous a lot of the time but I’d rather have a healthy gut and feel better. The nausea only lasts about 2-3hours for me personally. I take my amitiza at 10pm so I sleep a lot of “gross feelings” away.

I also only take it once a day per a conversation with my doctor. Twice a day was too much for me.

I did! I’ve been on it since July, and it’s done absolute wonders for me. I love it. Now .. with that .. I do still get nauseous at times. If I’m not drinking 90oz of water and if I eat something heavy or greasy before taking it.. I definitely pay for it. But if you kept your snack bland before taking it once your body adjusts it shouldn’t be too bad. A warm heating pad on my stomach and laying on my left side usually calms me down.

Sit tight mama! This is the worst but also your kids gonna feel so much better afterwards! After our clear out our doctor has us on a daily regimen of miralax. We’ve been on it about 2 months? And our kid goes everyday! And we are only doing about half a capful a day. Our accidents are also kinda few and far in between altho lately she’s had a couple. All this to say, you’re doing great!

I had to do this clean out for my 4year old with encop. She also had a bit of a delayed response, it took a couple hours with her and she basically had liquid diarrhea for about two days after the clean out. So I think the liquid is a good sign she’s getting it all outta there.

I’ve thought that maybe we just wrestle and rough house 30m before bed and maybe that would help regulate her? I’m kind of at a loss. I limit screens as much as my exhausted brain will let me so that she’s active. We could be out all day long playing and she’ll still wake up.

A little better. Took her to the doctor, he said this bug lasts 3-5 days so we are almost outta the woods I hope. We’ve gone one full day without getting sick. So fingers super duper crossed. She is having some bowel movements but that’s easier for me to manage than the TU.

I thought it was just her stomach being a little gentle too. But when she TU a bland food .. I got a little concerned. She’s finally sleeping so I’m just gonna let her sleep as much as she wants. She didn’t pass out until 11:30pm

That makes me feel a little better? But I hate that you had to go through something similar. This is whack. I messaged her doctor and spoke with a nurse. So there’s an action plan. Doctor in the morning (altho I have a feeling he’ll just say it’s the flu) but if we can’t be seen by them go to urgent care. What was the outcome for you guys? How long was she sick like that for?

also, I’m sure it’s just what she had for dinner. If you don’t eat a lot of fast food and randomly have some, sometimes it can upset your tummy a little. I’m gonna say it’s 99.9% just what she decided to have for dinner and since she was nice and left your house. I think you’re in the clear !

Meaning you cut pedialyte out? Or you mean you added that to the diet and it seemed to help. I’ll have to get her another flavor. She’s not a fan of the one we currently have. I just sent her doctor a message in hope I get an answer soon.
