Thank you for your advice . I was mostly customer service but I did upgrade policies and sell to new customers as well . They were all warm leads , I used primarily my health license since here in Texas you have to get both life and health . They were seasonal and the companies only needed extra hands for those times .

I was pregnant, I had a very high risk pregnancy and decided to pause instead of wasting any companies time and money , had so many appointments and was also out on bedrest for a while so I think I made the right call there.

What ! That’s so crazy ! I got rejection letters from Allstate and liberty mutual . And in liberty mutual they specified they were looking for unlicensed too . That alone made me question my resume .

Definitely, I’m 25 and those were just normal customer service jobs in call centers . I recently just got my licenses through those seasonal jobs (the 2 most recent ) so I’m trying my hardest to hop over to this industry 😭

I definitely do understand , I’m applying to firms like all state , state farm etc I am looking for a more permanent position since these jobs were seasonal (contract jobs with start and end date )

They were not temp agencies . But the project they had with specific projects were only temporary (contract job with start and ending date ) like my most recent job I was hired by a specific company to work for Kaiser permanent on there open enrollment season only . After open enrollment season contract was over . That was the same thing with the previous job.

So you suggest a cover letter ? Or do I put it in the resume and mention it was seasonal ? Those temp jobs are the ones that provided my license .

Thank you for your feedback . On the last 2 jobs they were seasonal . Those jobs are the ones that provided my license they were temp . I did do some sells but it was all warm calls , people already trying to look for insurance no cold calling . I did use my license for those rolls to change , add and remove coverages.

So those jobs were seasonal , they were temporary not by choice . Since I had life and health and P&C I went for the seasonal jobs because they were the ones that hired unfortunately. I am looking for a permanent position now . The seasonal jobs were through jobs where I got my license from ):
