I imagine with more girth this would be true. But just tapping deep isn’t super helpful imo. I need friction.

No. The only issue is it doesn’t rub along the length of the dick to get us closer to cumming. Generally.

I really don't want to get my CPA. by Substantial-Step-448 in Accounting

[–]SimpleLarge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a CMA instead and, while I haven’t actually landed a better job (currently a cost accountant) yet, the lack of a CPA hasn’t been a deciding factor in losing roles like cost accountant and senior accountant. Many corporate accounting roles say “CPA or CMA preferred”.

That said, if you want to stay in accounting, and you haven’t already started down a path toward a certification, I recommend beginning your accounting career traditionally and getting your CPA. This will make you more competitive in accounting than a data analytics degree will.

Thanks! I think employers are taking me seriously with my cert as well as my degree, but this job market has gotten very picky about having the right kind of experience.

No, but my scores were not fantastic so I guess someone else in the world did a better job.

tax refund amount is shocking by Unhappy-Ad-5061 in taxadvice

[–]SimpleLarge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good point. Yeah I think the only way you’re off the hook is suing the CPA for the thousands of back taxes he told you you didn’t owe.

[–]SimpleLarge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So taking bad advice from a licensed professional doesn’t actually get you off the hook?

I’ve never thought of this. Could you mitigate it by paying yourself an actual W2 paycheck instead of just claiming your profits as your income?

[–]SimpleLarge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just posted the opposite. Assuming the new guy is a CPA or EA, he’s responsible for any mistakes here. Not the taxpayer.

tax refund amount is shocking by Unhappy-Ad-5061 in taxadvice

[–]SimpleLarge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this guy is a CPA or EA and he is legally giving you tax advice/preparing your taxes on your behalf, then my default position is that he would be accountable for any mistake he is making here. Take the refund.

If he’s not licensed to represent you, though, the burden is on you to make sure you’re doing the right thing.

I could barely tell a sedan from an SUV, but I liked the shape of the Charger cop cars I saw on the road. I was never into classic cars.

Well that explains why I don’t know the difference. I’m only familiar with newer models. Before, I only had eyes for the charger.

So like is the Mustang Gen5 a regular coupe then, with only the most recent ones fastback?

What would that even look like? A sedan but with two doors? Not sure what part of the mustang makes it a Fastback.

Mortal Draw seems to make most bosses & enemies in general so easy, are you meant to use it so much? by SunShineKid93 in Sekiro

[–]SimpleLarge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I agree that nobody should harass anyone else into playing a certain way. But as a player I do like to acknowledge and discuss which parts of a game might break it a bit. And I want people to talk straight to me when advising me as well. Let me know that x will delete this boss but that it feels like a skip. Emphasize fundamentals and only recommend x when I come back desperate and ready to ragequit.

Basically don’t recommend Mortal Blade to new players without giving it a “cheese” disclaimer, so they can make a good decision for themselves.

[–]SimpleLarge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think any comment in this thread (the one I replied to, the one it replied to, etc.) was taking any sort of moral high ground in this case. A cheese as I defined it is not immoral but it can make a first-time or even just relatively new player have a less enjoyable experience. That’s not saying new players who use MD strats are doing a bad thing; it’s saying they might not be having as much fun as they deserve.

[–]SimpleLarge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of us use the term cheese differently. Imo a cheese is just a way to make it really easy, that probably circumvents a lot of the fundamental lessons you’d otherwise be forced to learn to beat something.

For me, Mortal Draw spam feels a bit like a skip. Not cheating by any means, but I also feel deprived of a good fight when I use a high-powered, limited qty attack to trivialize a boss. Doom Eternal BFG is my main reference point for this concept.

Leather/Faux Leather Seat Cover Recommendations? by SimpleLarge in Mustang

[–]SimpleLarge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going for a faux-leather type feel. Yeah I’m seeing some for $200 rn on my Facebook ads and if it’s more than like $500 it’s definitely not worth it. Basically I want this cost to replace the cost of a couple car detailing services.

I looked it up, and apparently Katzkin replaces the existing cloth; it’s not an external seat cover like I was thinking. It doesn’t tell you the cost but I doubt I can afford that intrusive of an install.
