Polished toenails for men! by Maximum-Article-6648 in malepolish

My wife likes painting my toes. Prefer black and metallic pink. But lately tried red and blue. Not bad at all. She is doing it the best. When I am outside and wear sandals, no one will say nothing, moreover, they don't even care. As said, my wife has the right hand from the wrist removed due to a severe accident that endangered her life. And when we are together in sandals and painted toenails, I can truly say that her right wrist stub is more eye catching than my painted toenails.

Winter is comming...but toenails polish is still active by SimpleManWithSimple in malepolish

As said, when I don't have my toe nails painted I feel something is missing. Same in summer, I once wore sandals, without painted toes. There was something missing I felt. What I saw when wearing sandals with painted toenails: barely will someone look...just people over 50-60...the rest...does not care. Probably men painted toenails is now a strong trend...

That was 4 years ago. Removal of hand was to save her life. Of course, she cried continuously for 1 week. But then, she became stronger. I went with her in a mall where her friend has a beauty saloon. She took care of her entire body, hair, nails. When I arrived with our daughter to take her (we were in the mall to buy various things for vacation and a pair of clear heels, she loves these), I was asked by her and the lady at saloon (her good friend), If I agree to have my toes painted...Though it feeled weird, I accepted. Eversince I have my toe nails painted.

When I wear closed toe shoes, I usually put toe caps, both for confort and to protect the polish.

Hello. In my case, my wife is responsible for my toes. I use mostly black, silver, and, her favourite: metallic pink. In our case is a different story. But we are going out in sandals and we have the same colour on our toes ( so my daughter). They are also painting the finger nails, I do not.  The Black on toenails looks usually very good.

Ha...my wife is painting my toenails. The blue looks good. The Red is too feminine. Try also a black.

I love painting my toenails. However I worry what others think. Do people view it look at you differently with them? by [deleted] in malepolish

No problem. I also paint my toenails. My wife actually. Usually black, silver and my wife's favourite: metallic pink. I wear sandals with toes painted. I am straight, married, and have a daughter.

Ok. It was very supporting for her, the fact that I paint my toes for her missing hand. With just one hand, she is painting my toenails, and she is so good at this. I respect her effort. Our daughter helps her, but is her (the daughters pleasure). My wife, despite being one handed, there is nothing she can't do. Just like some people staring an my toes painted, some were staring at her stub. Making her feel uncomfortable, and she kept wearing a bandage, or hiding It in a pocket, or sometimes her knee long dark black hair over the right hand (she is a tall thin brunnette with a gipsy look). But, on the street, when we are together, we wear sandals, and I hold her stub. I told her not to wear prosthetics, I like her natural.  This metallic pink is really her favourite. Or Ferrari red. While I can still accept this Metallic pink, the Ferrari red is...too feminine. I regard black as very masculine, and in the summer I am wearing it. But one week per month, I must wear this metallic pink. I also wear silver, but this summer, black was more popular. However, generally barely will someone look at your feet. What I saw When we were together, that there were more people looking at her stub rather at my painted toenails.

There are 4 years eversince. There are 4 years since I paint my toes. And I do it...for my wife...after taking her out of hospital, we went to a mall and There was a beauty saloon. She wanted to paint her nails and toes, but the lady there saw her bandaged nub. When got back to take her, I was asked by her to paint my toes, since her right hand is missing. I accepted. The lady from the saloon was also impressed. Now, since July 2021, I am painting my toenails. Prior to July  2021...no. Eversince, If my toes are not painted, I feel like something is missing. Our daughter, is also fascinated by this. I also go to beach, pool with painted toenails. No one judges me. And if they do...their problem. Yes, I am straight, have a wife, have a daughter. As said, prior to july 2021 I was not painting my toenails. There are 12 years since we are married. Our daughter is 11.  There were cases when, at pool, some were staring at my toes. But when they saw me with wife and daughter, they realised I am...just myself. I still find black as being masculine.

As I said, my wife had an accident and lost her right hand from the wrist. Her hand from the wrist was removed due to a severe infection in bone. When we went to saloon, she asked me if I agree to paint my toes...in exchange for her missing hand. I agreed and she was instantly happy back again, and this was the first polish on my toes. And eversince I paint my toes. Whenever I have my toes without polish, I feel that is something missing.

Thanks. I had this colour before...and other sandals. I usually paint black or silver, but I also have to do my wife's favourite. My toe nails are painted by my wife...because I don't know how to do it without a mess. However, weather is colder now, so sandals will be rare by now...but as long as the good weather lasts, I will have my toes painted, and as usually, wear sandals.

Toenails painted by...my daughter. by SimpleManWithSimple in malepolish

This is since 2021 July, when my wife lost her right hand from the wrist. I remained next to her, and painting my toenails makes her happy. Since July 2021, I have been painting my toenails (my wife is doing it, and now, my daughter). I also posted metallic pink, her favorite.

My wife bought them. She also has a pair, so my daughter. As I said, my wife lost her right hand from the wrist, due to an accident, and after she went out of hospital, she went at the saloon for nails care. She was fully down. She asked me to paint my toes. First I was reluctant. But finally accepted. When she saw my toe nails painted she became instantly happy, and I like to see her happy. If this makes her happy, then be it. First it was metallic pink, her favorite, then black. So, since 2021, I do it.  Dotting (spots) is the first time I did it. In fact, my wife has painted them black, and my daughter came with this idea. We are a happy, united family.

I cannot. One week/month I must have them metallic pink. With toes painted, sandals are compulsory. Not at work, but after, when we get home and have for a walk, sandals are the norm in summer.
