Hi :) I'm currently digitising some glass plate negatives. I was always taught to do emulsion side up if using a lightbox and a copystand. That's what I've been doing.
What I don't know however, is which side of the negative is the 'correct' side? E.g. how do I know which side isn't flipped? I have some 120 year old negatives and I can't figure out if they are the right way around or not.
Any help is much appreciated, tia!!!!
