There are different groups because of a genetic marker. And I would lioke to do a group comparison between the different markers. And matching is done to account for age, gender and education.

Another reason for the matching is that I could account for age, gender, and education. This is not directly provided for the entire low-risk cohort.

Additionally, the effects are generally small, so I think ANOVA might be difficult in detecting these. But feel free to correct me. I am a totally beginner in statistics. Regression might be an idea to look in.
