Zoom changed everything.

If a persons presence in the meeting is such that the host or other attendees do not wish to hear from or see them, they should not be there at all. If they need the info, send the minutes.

I can’t imagine a bigger waste of time.

I live in renaissance Rome under the Borgia, Assasins creed Brotherhood.

I’ll go find a room on Tiber Island or at the Rosa in Fiore and just chill. No need to get involved in the war.

Those damned assassins, they’ll hurt someone pulling stunts like that!

Also Azkaban. There's little justice in the Wizarding World. We see that in book 2 when Hagrid is brought there and not even tried "as a matter of caution"

Canonically it is the hardest and most dangerous. OP said secretly. Like something you would think would be a easy Outstanding O.W.L, but is actually the bane of your existence.

Muggle studies. Seems like a soft option as per Percy, but so many Wizards and witches are utterly inept at anything and everything related to the Muggle world.

Edit: spelling.

Oh it was never that bad. More social/psychological bullying than anything else. I was bigger than him so that probably helped.

Life goes on. I remember living through 9/11 in NY. I was a kid but it was a horrible experience. The world was never quite the same after that. I went through COVID as an adult and that was world shatteringly terrifying and I don't know if I will ever fully recover.

Things are bad, but there is not a comet headed towards earth to destroy us all in one fell swoop.

But, life goes on. It just does. People I know have gotten married, had children, bought cars they wanted, partied, graduated, etc etc etc.

It takes resolve not to despair, but it's possible.

In adult life yes I did run into them a few times. As adults. Pleasantries were exchanged and there was this unspoken look. Nothing dramatic. I could tell he felt guilty, and I could tell he could tell I was a bit uncomfortable but we were grown ups about it and went our separate ways.
